[Locked to Prudence, Asher, Chris, Leo, Nava, Ryoko, Scott, Skip, Nate, Cat, Ford, and Patrick]
It's about that time, dears. Cat, Skip, Ford, you'll have already gotten the message from my office, but just so the rest of you know--I'll be moving soon. To my parent's, for a while, then off I go into the wild blue yonder, as it were. I think one last hurrah is in order, even if it must be separately for each of you. Busy schedules, and all that.
I suppose that's it, then.

I don’t understand. You love it when I do that— Wait, no. That’s Stephen.

I'm afraid the circumstances will have to remain quiet for the moment, darlings, but I
Oh, for God's sake. I require exorbitant amounts of alcohol and your immediate presence. And as few questions as possible, if you please.

Well, I suppose it's rather common knowledge now, but I have made the proverbial triumphant return. Tuscany was lovely, Italian men are just as absurdly flirtatious as I remember, and my belief that one can never have red wine too often has been firmly re-established. I'll be back into the office on Monday, though my cellphone is always on regardless.
Prudence, Asher, darlings--I rather believe I'm in need of your company sometime soon. I was sorely lacking in Florence, obviously.
And Kelly, I must thank you for leaving my home in some semblance of what I left it.
[Toby]
I'm assuming you got on just fine, then, dear?

Everything's packed; I leave on Friday morning. Do try not to implode or some such nonsense while I'm gone, won't you (Piglandia, or whatever you're calling yourselves; Toby, Carrollians, this is directed at you)? You lot do have such a tendency to go all to pieces at the slightest things.
And I'm terribly sorry to hear about Mrs. Fairchild; I've only known her peripherally, but it is such a dreadful thing to happen. I'll have to have a wreath sent to her home, at least. Oh, dear.
Patrick, darling, by the by--I haven't heard from you in several days. Shock of shocks, I must ask: are you well?

Toby, darling, considerably better living company than a potted plant--do alleviate my suspicions and inform me you've gone to have your tuxedo fitted and mended for the wedding, oui? Last minute preparations are stressful enough without finding out you've left this until the final moment.

Oh, my. It's almost that time of year already. I'd nearly forgotten.
You'll have to fend for yourself soon, Toby. Though I'm sure you can acquire company for ten days without too terrible much difficulty.
I have to remember to cancel appointments. [...] Remember-remember, not the other way round.

Goodness! I woke up Saturday morning and all these gifts had simply materialized on our breakfast table! Neil, Nava, Jacob, darlings, I simply must thank you. The flowers were gorgeous, and Neil, the pearls were absolutely beautiful. Considering the usual state of birthdays, I was quite pleasantly surprised.
Prudence, darling, I must apologize for missing your calls; forgive me with lunch this week?

I didn't do anything too terribly mortifying, did I?

Well! These journals always seem to be so aflutter with scandal. Prudence, darling, please tell me you're available tonight.

May, darling, that photo of you and Kilroy has me wondering: do you need any help with the wedding arrangements? It's been ever so long since I've been involved in one, you know, and I'd hate to just leave you adrift if you had any need of a second opinion.
( Piglanders. )
Toby, be a dear, would you? We're out of vanilla and haven't nearly enough flour.

[forward-dated to tomorrow morning, after receiving these two gifts]
There are things in our house, Toby.

Goodness! I wasn't aware our Tale had such unity to present gifts to each other on holidays. I have rather missed the boat on that, haven't I?

As for the other terribly exciting news for this month--and really, it's all that more exciting as it only occurs once in a four-year cycle--this year is a leap year. I've always found those particularly more interesting than Valentine's Day. The conglomeration of all our extra minutes into a single day, tacked onto the end of February, of all months. I had a man go on and on about that in one of our sessions last week; I never thought one could delve so thoroughly into the subject of time travel as it relates to the leap year.
I'm afraid I have little to say regarding both sudden rabbit infestations and Valentine's Day: as to the first, I'm not sure there's anything to say; and the second--in some form or another, it's already been said. I'm sure I'll be taking the extra time to go over case files anyway.
Toby, dear, you've left your school papers all over the couch again.
